Google Chrome has become surveillance software. It’s time to switch

The news stories continue to grow as people are discovering just how insidious the Google Chrome web browser is becoming. The latest is one in The Washington Post titled: "Goodbye, Chrome: Google’s web browser has become spy software"

Google is an advertising company first and foremost, and they make their money off the selling of your personal data. This problem has existed for quite some time, and is the primary reason (among others) that I've always advised my clients to use Mozilla's Firefox web browser instead. Mozilla is a non-profit that continues to champion consumer privacy and protection, and lately has made significant strides in improving their Firefox browser to the point where it's not only faster than Chrome, but provides numerous user safety and customization features that Chrome lacks.
