HP laptops found to have hidden keylogger

The BBC is reporting that a security researcher has discovered hidden software that can record every letter and keystroke made on over 460 different models of HP laptops dating back to 2012, including the EliteBook, ProBook, Pavilion and Envy lines as well as others.

What makes this even more disturbing is that a similar incident happened with HP just this past May.

It's always important to choose your product brands carefully, both software and hardware. The company's track record with security should definitely play a big role these days in influence what products you purchase and use.
